Beyond The Pale returns in 2026

Three days of global headliners, breakthrough Irish artists, artist‑led performance, chef‑driven dining, and the return of Beyond The Plate land in the Glendalough Valley this June.

Friday opens with a huge electronic‑leaning lineup led by headliner Caribou, joined by Groove Armada (DJ set), Moodymann, and newly announced Tinlicker (live), setting the tone for a weekend built on world‑class live and late‑night energy. They’re joined by a powerful mix of international and homegrown names including Sama’ Abdulhadi, Jan Blomqvist Band, Princess Nokia, Σtella, Jenny Greene, DUG, Chalk, Al Gibbs, Ela Minus, Dose, AliA and Souzac, Nicole Spagnol, Dublin Disco All-Dayer making for an opening day and night that spans high-energy live sets, late-night club culture, and breakthrough talent.

Saturday brings one of Beyond The Pale’s biggest days to date, headlined by Primal Scream and Soulwax, two era‑defining acts whose live shows have shaped generations of festival‑goers. They lead a stacked Saturday lineup featuring Kojaque, Sister Sledge, BIIRD, Bricknasty, just announced Ben Klock, 2Many DJs, Christian Loffler, Marie Davidson (live), The Sabres of Paradise, Gui Boratto alongside Kittin, Cliffords, Mr Scruff, Kormac, Fejka, CC:Disco!, Curtisy, Maykay, SexyTadhg, Cailín, Lullahush, Shark School, Jake Fitz, Melodic DJs, Maicín, Sei Green, Boolaboom, Zeztra, (ART)IFICIAL, JB the Deejay and Stomptown Brass performs Jamie xx. From iconic disco and rock energy to some of Ireland’s most exciting new voices, Saturday is set to be a landmark day in the Valley.

Sunday closes the festival with an unmissable finale led by Father John Misty, whose acclaimed live performances make him one of the must‑see headliners of the summer festival season. He’s joined by Honey Dijon, Of Monsters & Men, Mike D (Beastie Boys), NewDad, and one of the most anticipated new lineup additions, Dove Ellis. Sunday also features Max Cooper (3D/AV Live), Claptone, Horace Andy & the Dub Asante Band feat. Matic Horns, Irvine Welsh, Nouvelle Vague, Róis, Madra Salach, TSHA, Gabriels (DJ set), Elaine Mai, Overhead The Albatros, Bedlam, Malix, Croįthe, Absolute Lilt, Evan Gildersleeve, Dreamboy, Starlight Project, and Ladies & Gentlemen We Are Floating in Space performed by Glasshouse Ensemble & Dublin Gospel Choir. With limited Sunday day tickets available later this month, including Sunday night camping, the festival’s finale brings together standout live performers with the ideal festival daytrip just 30 minutes from Dublin

The boutique festival will also return with its boldest and most exciting arts programme to date, a three-day and night celebration of world premieres, Irish festival firsts, artist‑led curation, and gloriously outlandish behaviour across the Glendalough Valley.

This year’s arts programme is anchored by two major art commissions, including a bespoke digital artwork for Beyond The Pale by Sergey Khadshava, the artist who broke the internet last year with his digital mapping of a brutalist water tower turned DJ booth, and Undercurrent, a striking series of bespoke festival flags by AmyRose Bryan. New areas add to the adventure and mischief-making including Burning Circus, a dedicated fire‑arts space perched beside the SUN‑STOP stone circle, and the Global Solidarity Hub in the newly opened Lakeside area of the Glendalough festival. Hi Pony!, Beyond The Pale’s home for the best in Irish aerial arts, expands into a larger space with its most ambitious programme yet, while festival favourites Bang Bike return with an all‑weekend “Analogue Bubble Bath” extravaganza.

Beyond The Pale Arts programme director Jenny Jennings, and co‑creator of acclaimed theatre company THISISPOPBABY, said: “Rooted in the silly, the sexy and the sublime, this year’s arts line-up is full of some of the best artists and performers on the island today, who will have your feet itching to dance, your belly sore from laughing, and your heart full."

Beyond The Pale’s much‑loved food and drink programme, Beyond The Plate, returns to Wicklow’s Glendalough Estate with The Spice Bag Edition, curated by celebrated food writer and culinary curator Ali Dunworth. The Spice Bag Edition explores the mix of culture, creativity, and rebellion that defines Irish food, tracing how global exchange and local ingenuity continue to push our food scene forward. This year’s anticipated lineup brings together some of Ireland’s most recognisable food voices from presenter and food influencer Cassie Stokes to Dublin’s pizza king Reggie White, Joe Macken of Crackbird and Jo’Burger fame, award-winning pastry chef Shane Smith, The Cupcake Bloke Graham Herterich, spice guru Arun Kapil and many more. Running from Friday 12 June to Sunday 14 June, all Beyond The Plate events are included in the festival ticket.
