Dead Calm is a band fronted by Liam McCay (Sign Crushes Motorist, Dead Calm, Take Care) - a prolific Irish musician from Donegal, who has multiple different widely successful aliases that explore and weave between a variety of different genres. Namely, slowcore and indie-rock.

The lyrics are direct, poignant, introspective and are often coupled with melancholic themes that have earned him a cult following online across Spotify and Soundcloud.

His growth has been organic, with a very DIY, bedroom approach, despite his rapidly skyrocketing ascent.
