About
Feng
How can less than 16 minutes of music across 10 tracks make a seismic shift in the underground? Nineteen-year-old English rapper Feng doesn’t know. Emerging from the UK underground, he quickly drew attention with his tightly packed debut What The Feng, earning acclaim from The FADER, Pitchfork, INTERVIEW, COMPLEX, and DAZED, alongside sold-out shows and a stateside debut at Rolling Loud.
Known for his grungy, self-aware energy and vibrant style often seen in tie-dye tees, Feng brings the same unfiltered expressiveness to his music — guided by instinct rather than trends. In a scene often driven by vanity, his work carries a rare sense of selflessness and optimism. Operating under an accentuated version of his real name, Travas Feneley, Feng remains a work in progress, evolving in real time. Largely self-taught via BandLab, he writes, produces, mixes, and engineers his own music, extending that hands-on approach to the visuals he directs.
That rapid rise led to his debut album Weekend Rockstar, released through his homegrown creative collective and label, Regularisperfect. Built with a tight circle of collaborators led by Bilal Hamdi and Feng himself, the album captures the contrast between weekday monotony and technicolored weekends — documenting a teenage life in flux marked by love, ambition, and sudden change. As his profile grows, Feng remains grounded, holding onto authenticity and his Croydon roots while stepping into stardom.
