Originally formed in County Mayo and now based in Dublin, Nerves have steadily built a reputation as one of Ireland’s most uncompromising live acts. Their shows feel less like performances and more like pressure points, all volume, tension and release, earning them tours alongside some of the buzziest new names in the circuit, Maruja and Gurriers, as well as shows with noise-rock royalty, The Jesus Lizard. Nerves return with their first new music of 2026 in the form of 'N26', a sharp, anxious blast that captures the band at their most immediate and confrontational.

'N26' feels like a direct continuation of that trajectory, but with the dial pushed further into the red. Produced once again by Daniel Fox of Gilla Band, the track condenses their approach into three relentless minutes. There are traces of techno in its pulse, but it lands with the blunt impact of noise rock, drawing a line between the mechanical and the visceral.
