It all began in 2015, when BBC Radio 1 brought together legendary DJ and broadcaster Pete Tong with visionary orchestral conductor and composer Jules Buckley. Their mission? To fuse the worlds of electronic and classical/orchestral music into a groundbreaking live experience for the BBC’s late-night Prom at the iconic Royal Albert Hall.

In the years that followed, the live show would tour internationally, taking over world-renowned venues such as The Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl, and multiple sold-out nights at London’s O2 Arena.

Now, a decade later, Pete Tong’s Ibiza Classics Orchestra has become a fixture on the UK’s live music calendar — both summer and winter. With over 750,000 fans attending shows across the years, including sold-out performances at Blenheim Palace, Manchester AO Arena, The King’s Coronation concert, and many more, Ibiza Classics has redefined what live dance music can be.
