WellFest announces Dublin return and Northern Ireland expansion
DUBLIN
WellFest, Ireland and Europe’s largest outdoor fitness and wellness festival, has announced the talent for its flagship 10-year anniversary celebration in Dublin. Taking place at IMMA, Royal Hospital Kilmainham on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 May 2026, the two-day weekend festival will showcase an exciting and diverse mix of wellness leaders, fitness icons, and cultural voices. As part of its milestone year, WellFest has also announced its expansion to Northern Ireland for the first time, with a brand-new weekend festival in Ormeau Park, Belfast later in September.
Headlining the Dublin festival is Newry native and fitness influencer Maeve Madden, who will bring her empowering Queens Don’t Quit workouts to the capital. Joining her are two-time Olympic gold medallist Kellie Harrington, podcaster and mental health advocate Blindboy, endurance athlete and wellness entrepreneur Spencer Matthews, Caroline O’Mahony, one of Ireland’s most influential online fitness coaches for women; Mr Motivator, the iconic high‑energy fitness legend whose feel‑good workouts have inspired generations; and Danny O’Reilly, frontman of The Coronas and passionate wellness advocate, who will bring a rare and intimate conversation on mental wellbeing to the WellTalk stage.
The line-up also includes renowned performance psychologist Gerry Hussey, Yoga with Maura, and high-energy favourites like POUND and BBX. Festival-goers can look forward to Zumba with Hermann Melo, Yoga Le Naoise, foodie demos with Little Lou Cooks, power-posing workouts with House of Voga, and the return of the ever-popular Coppers The Workout. Lewis Capaldi's therapist and bestselling author Owen O’Kane will explore mental health and anxiety, while former Great British Bake Off Finalist Kimberley Wilson brings her expertise as a chartered psychologist and passion for brain nutrition.
Also on the line up is Dubliner Iain Ward, known globally as King of Chemo, the cancer awareness advocate with over 9 million Instagram followers who is on a mission to break the world record of raising over £2.3 million for charity through marathon running; comedian and podcaster Kevin Twomey, who returns with his signature high‑energy, laughter‑fuelled spin session; and Olympic boxer Aoife O’Rourke and her fellow world boxing champion sister Lisa O’Rourke, who are also HYROX World Championship gold medallists. They are joined by Cork’s much‑loved food personality Trisha Lewis; bestselling authors and plant‑powered twins The Happy Pear; Brazilian yoga instructor Allan Müller; and festival favourites Coppers The Workout and Donking Rongavilla. Also announced today is Eva Pau from Dublin's beloved Asia Market and RTÉ food series host; sustainability advocate Pat Kane; social media sensation and online coach Lauren Scully; Unscripted podcast host Niamh O’Connor; high‑performance coach Mark Fennell; and the uplifting movement collective Sunflower Sessions, described as “the sweet spot between yoga and music.”
BELFAST
Belfast will host the brand-new weekend festival in Ormeau Park in September 2026, bringing the full WellFest experience to Northern Irish audiences for the first time.
Leading the line-up for WellFest NI is Newry native Maeve Madden and Olympic and world champion gymnast Rhys McClenaghan from Newtownards, bringing a powerful sports angle to the festival stage.
They will be joined by Owen O’Kane, Belfast-born therapist to Lewis Capaldi and bestselling psychotherapist, offering inspiring talks on mental health and resilience, and Dr Rebekah Jade, yoga and breathwork expert, who has previously taught yoga to the England women’s football team. Ellen Keane, Irish Paralympic swimmer and gold medallist, also joins the bill, championing homegrown voices to both Wellfest NI and WellFest Ireland.
This first wave of acts sets the tone for what promises to be an unforgettable debut for WellFest in Northern Ireland, with an exciting line-up of international names and further programme announcements to come in 2026.
